testimonial_item=&#8221;%5B%7B%22title%22%3A%22Konstantinos%20Bourazanis%20Art%20Historian%20A.S.K.T.%22%2C%22position%22%3A%22%5C%22INSIGHTS%5C%22%202021%22%2C%22content%22%3A%22Marta%20Biagini&#8217;s%20%5C%22Enorasis%5C%22%20is%20an%20opening%20to%20a%20different%20world%2C%20not%20the%20opposite%20of%20the%20real%20one%2C%20but%20an%20immanent%20world.%20It%20is%20a%20more%20subjective%20look%20at%20a%20different%2C%20ontological%20dimension%20of%20the%20physical%20world%2C%20with%20which%20we%20have%20a%20peculiar%20relationship%2C%20concerning%20the%20understanding%20and%20familiarization%20of%20the%20cosmic%20elements%20and%20the%20surrounding%20space.%5CnInsight%20is%20defined%20as%20the%20psychic%20ability%20to%20see%20images%20beyond%20the%20capabilities%20of%20normal%20vision.%20%20It%20involves%20a%20subconscious%20process%2C%20directly%20related%20to%20experience%2C%20and%20is%20part%20of%20a%20secondary%20nature%20of%20man%2C%20while%20projecting%20knowledge%2C%20which%20is%20produced%20in%20ways%20far%20removed%20from%20the%20senses%20and%20logic.%5CnPerception%20through%20experience%20is%20related%20to%20factors%20that%20are%20directly%20influential%20and%20determined%20by%20both%20subjective%20beliefs%20and%20the%20general%20cultural%20background.%20The%20artist%20activates%20this%20process%20of%20perception%20and%20presents%20thirty-one%20paintings%20in%20which%20the%20distinction%20between%20subjective%20and%20objective%20elements%2C%20the%20empirical%20space%2C%20is%20achieved.%20%5CnHer%20work%20is%20divided%20into%20two%20categories.%20The%20first%20is%20concerned%20with%20the%20subjective%20self%20and%20her%20perspective%20on%20the%20morphological%20elements%20approaches%20surrealism%2C%20while%20the%20second%2C%20which%20draws%20inspiration%20from%20the%20objective%20world%2C%20displays%20recognizable%20forms%2C%20embedded%20in%20a%20more%20gentle%20poetics%20that%20discovers%20the%20paradox%20of%20the%20two%20worlds.%5CnIn%20the%20section%20of%20purely%20surrealist%20works%2C%20the%20canvas%20is%20overwhelmed%20by%20abstract%2C%20biomorphic%20shapes%20floating%20in%20space.%20The%20otherworldly%20places%2C%20do%20not%20obey%20Euclidean%20geometry%2C%20but%20through%20their%20shadows%20and%20contours%20subject%20the%20three-dimensional%20space%2C%20thus%20depicting%20a%20different%20reality.%20The%20chromatic%20organisms%2C%20creations%20of%20the%20subconscious%2C%20float%20and%20develop%2C%20within%20the%20hallucinatory%20regions%20of%20the%20mind%2C%20where%20time%20is%20conspicuously%20absent.%20Past%20and%20future%20merge%20into%20one%20big%20present.%20The%20drawing%20is%20rigorous%20and%20the%20forms%20it%20forms%20are%20presented%20in%20a%20closed%20way%2C%20which%20gives%20a%20character%20of%20stability.%20The%20colour%20is%20applied%20smoothly%20and%20uniformly%2C%20without%20visible%20residues%20and%20textures%2C%20thus%20promoting%20the%20wholeness%20that%20characterises%20this%2C%20the%20subjective%20universe.%20%5CnThe%20second%20category%20includes%20works%20in%20which%20the%20pictorial%20elements%20still%20have%20a%20relationship%20to%20objective%20reality%2C%20even%20if%20fragmentary.%20The%20colours%20are%20presented%20more%20softly%20and%20the%20forms%20cease%20to%20be%20entrenched%20in%20relation%20to%20their%20surroundings.%20This%20second%20world%20develops%20more%20analogically%20and%20more%20dynamically.%20Space%20here%20is%20defined%20by%20architectures%2C%20objects%20and%20plants%2C%20which%20are%20conceptually%20condensed%20in%20each%20composition.%20Faces%20and%20bodies%20are%20incorporated%2C%20within%20the%20abstract%20constructions%20that%20complete%20the%20dream%20world.%20The%20connection%20between%20the%20forms%20is%20vague%2C%20thus%20projecting%20a%20structural%20relationship%20that%20is%20prima%20facie%20based%20on%20the%20absurd.%20The%20realistic%20elements%20do%20not%20appear%20as%20information%20of%20a%20specific%20narrative%2C%20but%20as%20fragments%2C%20each%20of%20which%20carries%20its%20own%20meaning%20and%20thereby%20contributes%20to%20a%20whole%2C%20from%20which%20the%20pure%20expression%20of%20the%20painter%20is%20revealed.%5CnThe%20function%20of%20the%20art%20of%20%5C%22insights%5C%22%20%5C%22%2C%20is%20not%20aimed%20at%20knowledge%2C%20but%20neither%20is%20it%20aimed%20at%20anything%20practical.%20Its%20aim%20is%20to%20reveal%20the%20conflict%2C%20between%20instinct%20and%20emotional%20reason%2C%20for%20the%20sake%20of%20expression.%5CnThe%20two%20different%20perspectives%2C%20on%20the%20same%20inner%20world%2C%20put%20forward%20the%20contradiction%20between%20the%20conscious%20and%20the%20unconscious.%20The%20order%20and%20strict%20purity%20enjoyed%20by%20the%20forms%20of%20the%20abstract%2C%20surrealist%20works%20contrasts%20with%20the%20fluidity%20and%20osmosis%20that%20prevails%20in%20the%20compositions%20that%20maintain%20their%20contact%20with%20elements%20of%20reality.%20Thus%2C%20it%20stands%20against%20the%20already%20formed%20knowledge%20about%20the%20free%20state%20that%20prevails%20in%20the%20space%20of%20the%20unconscious%20and%20the%20recognizable%20order%20that%20characterizes%20consciousness%20and%20reason.%5CnThe%20artist%20organizes%20a%20different%20structure%20of%20her%20painted%20world%2C%20where%20ambiguity%20between%20the%20relations%20of%20its%20parts%20prevails%2C%20with%20its%20existence%20appearing%20doubtful%2C%20but%20without%20being%20rejected.%20Nothing%20works%20in%20sequence%2C%20but%20everything%20is%20harmonized%20on%20the%20basis%20of%20a%20different%20worldview%2C%20which%20puts%20emotion%20in%20the%20foreground%2C%20filtered%20through%20human%20experience%20and%20translates%20morphology%20into%20a%20subjective%2C%20expressive%20process.%5CnThe%20body%20of%20work%20exudes%20an%20inner%20force%20that%20makes%20this%20different%20existence%20palpable%2C%20which%20gains%20substance%20in%20colour%20and%20potential%20forms.Biagini&#8217;s%20%5C%22insights%5C%22%20develop%20a%20rhetoric%2C%20through%20her%20%5C%22insights%5C%22%2C%20on%20the%20consideration%20of%20human%20interiority%20and%20the%20perception%20of%20the%20external%20environment%2C%20in%20order%20to%20search%20for%20and%20communicate%20a%20space%20more%20essential%20and%20authentic.%22%7D%2C%7B%22title%22%3A%22Yannis%20Papadakis%22%2C%22position%22%3A%22%5C%22WATCHING%5C%22%202018%20%22%2C%22content%22%3A%22Following%20Marta&#8217;s%20artistic%20journey%20one%20can%20see%20a%20path%20from%20her%20anxious%20painterly%20quest%2C%20through%20her%20inner%20world%20and%20her%20social%20anxiety.%20Works%20mainly%20of%20faces%20and%20expressions%20with%20a%20perfect%20figurative%20realization.%20Is%20it%20enough%20to%20be%20art%3F%20Perfection%2C%20no%2C%20in%20itself%20is%20not%20enough%20and%20perhaps%20distracts%20from%20art.%20But%20when%20it%20succeeds%20and%20expresses%20the%20sensible%2C%20in%20Spazi%20della%20Mente%2C%20(Spaces%20of%20the%20Mind)%20then%20yes%2C%20it%20is%20art.%5Cn%20%20%20It%20realizes%20the%20inexpressible%20and%20at%20the%20same%20time%20expresses%20a%20person&#8217;s%20anxiety%20about%20what%20is%20happening%20around%20and%20within%20him.%5Cn%20%20%20She%20finds%20that%20she%20needs%20more%20to%20express%20her%20anxiety.%20Thus%20comes%20the%20coupling%20of%20her%20works%20with%20the%20Renaissance%20and%20Mythology%2C%20the%20germ%20of%20the%20metaphysical%20and%20transcendent.%20Her%20Medea%2C%20a%20work%20intensely%20plastic%20but%20also%20wild%20as%20the%20myth%20demands.%20A%20tragic%20work%20of%20wild%20beauty.%5Cn%20%20%20At%20the%20same%20time%2C%20the%20well%20of%20hope%20as%20my%20ignorance%20perceives%20it%2C%20with%20its%20crown%20of%20pebbles.%20Fantastic%20sense%20of%20anybody&#8217;s%20imagination.%5Cn%20%20%20The%20course%20continues%20with%20works%20of%20intense%20plasticity%20and%20use%20of%20color%2C%20music.%20Paintings%20of%20metaphysical%20overtones%2C%20spontaneous%20symbolism%20that%20submit%20and%20take%20off.%5Cn%20%20%20Here%20the%20surreal%20and%20the%20metaphysical%20coincide.%20But%20perhaps%20this%20is%20always%20the%20case.%20But%20it%20is%20rarely%20expressed%20in%20a%20way%20that%20is%20so%20modern.%5Cn%20%20%20It%20also%20has%20a%20beauty%20that%20at%20first%20glance%20traps%20us%20and%20as%20one%20continues%20to%20observe%20it%20leads%20to%20paths%2C%20thoughts%2C%20reflections%20that%20the%20creator%20intentionally%20or%20unintentionally%20makes%20us%20trace.%5Cn%20%20%20One%20fantasizes%20about%20something%20that%20may%20exist(%3F).%20But%20what%20if%20Marta&#8217;s%20art%20does%20not%20exist%2C%20full%20of%20anguish%2C%20anxiety%2C%20poetry.%20A%20poetry%20that%20is%20visual%2C%20free%20without%20any%20limitations%20of%20imagination%2C%20which%20at%20the%20same%20time%2C%20even%20if%20it%20seems%20oxymoronic%2C%20does%20not%20leave%20the%20Pegasus%20of%20her%20painting%20without%20control.%5Cn%20%20%20A%20course%20that%20continues%20through%20the%20spaces%20of%20the%20mind%2C%20between%20labyrinths%20and%20hopes.%5Cn%20%20%20Lighthouses%20and%20beacon-shaped%20buildings%2C%20inquiring%20(if%20one%20can%20say%20so)%20and%20restless%20that%20push%20the%20mind%20to%20imagine%20a%20modern%20Babel.%5CnLighthouses%20all-seeing%20inquirers%20reveal%20paths%20unexplored%20hidden%20in%20the%20depths%20of%20the%20mind.%5CnLeading%20where%3F%5CnDo%20they%20want%20to%20lead%3F%5CnThey%20probably%20lead%20to%20the%20%5C%22digging%20hole%5C%22.%5Cn%20%20%20And%20impossible%20to%20ignore%20the%20elegant%20birds%20that%20for%20me%20are%20travelling%2C%20searching%20for%20the%20hereafter%2C%20fleeing%20from%20Reason.%5Cn%20%20%20The%20birds&#8217;%20course%20is%20rivalled%20by%20a%20kite%20of%20high%20flying(p.)%2C%20escaping%20from%20the%20rooms%20of%20the%20mind%20on%20a%20course%20of%20hope%3F%20Future%3F%5Cn%20%20%20After%20all%2C%20Marta&#8217;s%20works%20are%20neither%20logic%20nor%20science.%20It%20is%20art.%5Cn%20%20%20Works%20of%20art%20that%2C%20as%20they%20are%20worked%20through%20time%2C%20acquire%20colors%20and%20color%20combinations%20and%20a%20geometry%20of%20shapes%20that%20may%20have%20an%20unconscious%20starting%20point%20in%20her%20architectural%20past%2C%20but%20to%20me%20they%20bring%20to%20mind%20(in%20my%20mind)%20De%20Chirico%20and%20Magritte.%20And%20I%20am%20not%20referring%20to%20a%20comparison%20of%20artistic%20sizes%20but%20to%20the%20fact%20that%20talented%20artists%20learn%20and%20assimilate%20the%20teachings%20and%20works%20of%20important%20masters.%5Cn%20%20%20Marta&#8217;s%20art%20surprises%2C%20if%20not%20delights.%20It%20is%20not%20sensualism%2C%20she%20expresses%20her%20inner%20world%20with%20the%20tools%20of%20painting.%5CnIt%20is%20the%20art%20that%20moves%20forward.%5CnGo%20ahead%20Marta%20(we%20await%20news).%5Cn%20%20%20All%20of%20the%20above%20are%20personal%20opinions.%20De%20profundis%2C%20not%20artistically%20substantiated.%20Besides%2C%20I%20don&#8217;t%20have%20the%20corresponding%20infrastructure.%20But%20that%20does%20not%20prevent%20me%20from%20expressing%20what%20I%20feel%20and%20receive%20from%20the%20works%20of%20my%20dear%20friend.%22%7D%5D&#8221;
